Virginio Caneva, 83, of Wyomissing, died of natural causes on April 3rd at 9:33 a.m. in his residence.
His wife Josephine (Girardi) Caneva died on July 3, 1993.
Born in Holden, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Carlo and Letizia (Montagna) Caneva. He was raised in Cornedo, Italy.
He worked as a senior accountant for Paul's Trucking Company, a subsidiary of Supermarkets General, Woodbridge, NJ, for 16 years retiring in 1987.
Caneva was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola RCC, Whitfield.
He is survived by one daughter Morena (Caneva) O'Brien of Wyomissing.
Other survivors include 2 grandchildren, Sean M. O'Brien, Bethlehem and Tina M. O'Brien, Wyomissing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Loyola RCC, Whitfield. Friends may call from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Entombment will take place in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ignatius Loyola RCC Memorial Fund, 2810 St. Albans Drive Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
