Virginia M. Polito

Virginia M. Polito, 96, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018, in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center.

She was the wife of Daniel F. Polito who died in 1976.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Hell) Dinatale.

Virginia was a member of Holy Rosary R. C. Church, Reading, where she was a member of Holy Rosary Society and Catholic Women's Club.

She was employed as a line worker for Western Electric from 1958 until her retirement in 1981.

Virginia loved cooking, playing cards, and being with her entire family.

She is survived by two daughters: Sylvia Lee, wife of Terry Pearson, Sinking Spring; and Jouette, wife of Clair Shurr, Blandon. Three grandchildren: Gregg A. Pearson, Andrea Kline and Stacey Oppmann, eight great grandchildren: Kyle, Ryan, Hailey, Barry, Alex, Michael, Rylee and Evelyn, and a great great granddaughter, Leah also survive her.

Virginia was predeceased by two brothers: Frank and Steve Dinatale, and two sisters: Catherine Epting, and Jennie Miller.

A Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
