Virginia H. Brandenburg Kupp

Virginia H. Brandenburg Kupp, 97, a resident of the Highlands at Wyomissing, died Aug. 3 at 6:50 a.m. in the Highlands Skilled Nursing Unit, where she had resided since Dec. 5, 1997.

She was predeceased by her first husband, John Brandenburg, on June 21, 1953, and by her second husband, Howard Kupp, in 1992.

Born in Chicago, she was a daughter of the late Harry W. and Viva (Cone) Harpold.

Surviving are a son, John Brandenburg, Chicago, and a daughter, Lynn (Brandenburg) Towell, Uffington, England.

Other survivors include a grandson.

Services will be private. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc. West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
