Virginia Mae Klopp

Virginia Mae (Heiser) Klopp, 80, of Topton and formerly of Spring Ridge, died August 4, 2014 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of David L. Klopp, whom she married May 16, 1953.

Born July 12, 1934 in Reading, PA, she was the only child of Irvin G. and Constance M. (Goodison) Heiser.

Virginia was a 1952 graduate of Reading High School.

She was last employed as a supervisor in customer service with Meridian Bank.

Virginia was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale, where she was a past member of Lutheran Church Women there.

She was a member of the Book Club at Lutheran Home at Topton.

Virginia was very devoted to her family and her grandchildren, who were all her pride and joy.

She is also survived by three children: Vicky L. Klopp of Gaithersburg, MD; David B. Klopp, partner of Steve L. Greving of New York City, NY and Linda A., wife of Christopher E. Young of Fleetwood.

There are also two grandchildren: Brian C. Young and Megan A. Young.

Services will be Thursday at 1:00 pm in Calvary Lutheran Church, 1009 Elizabeth Ave., Laureldale, PA 19605. A viewing will be held in church on Thursday from 11:30 am until time of service.

Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
