Virginia Josephine (Hinkle) Klick, 88, formerly of Hyde Park, passed away December 1, 2008 in Lutheran Home at Topton.
Her husband, Curtis F. "Pete" Klick died on August 24, 1983.
Born September 28, 1920 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William and Emma (Nawatarski) Hinkle.
Virginia was self-employed as a hairdresser for 12 years.
She was an avid dancer when she was younger.
Virginia was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two sons, Kerry L., husband of Madeline (Kalinowski), Reading; Scott A., Bushnell, Fl., and a daughter, Shelley L. Klick, Mission Viejo, CA.
Other survivors include a brother, Ronald Hinkle, SC, a grandson, Bradley S. Klick; a great-granddaughter, Morgan M. Klick, both of Belvidere, Il., and two step-granddaughters, Trisha Sadlowski, Wyomissing; Cynthia Simyak, Beacon, NY., and a dear friend and companion, Clarence "Duffy" Keppley.
Virginia was predeceased by a sister, Fern Rapp.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Walter Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
