Virginia H. Brabant

Virginia H. (Levan) Brabant, 60, of Bernville, passed away October 10, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital.

She was the widow of James Frederick Brabant, Sr.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harrison and Hettie (Quillman) Levan.

Virginia was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family; one of the greatest gifts she gave her children was staying at home to raise them. Family was paramount to Virginia, she cherished her children and grandchildren, even worrying about them in her dying days. She lived a selfless life and touch the hearts of each and every person she met. Virginia was a kind and compassionate woman with a heart of gold and always put others first. She adored her cats and dogs and treated them like her own children; she will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two children, James Frederick Brabant, Jr., companion of Melissa Shupp, Bernville and Amy Beth Starzmann, Fleetwood. Twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive her.

Services will be Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., Hamburg. Burial will be private. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
