Virginia M. Ganter

Virginia M. Ganter, 79, of Cumru Township and formerly of Spring Township, died April 21st at 5:40 pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been since April 9th.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Minnie F. (Vath) Ganter.

She was a 1944 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

Ganter was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She was employed for over 37 years as a secretary for Jerome A. LaManna, C.P.A., Wyomissing.

Ganter was later employed as a secretary and accountant by Cumru Township for a number of years until her retirement.

She was a past Division Treasurer for the National Secretaries Association of Pennsylvania.

Ganter was also a member of Save the Pagoda.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 am in The Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. No public viewing. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Central Catholic High School, 1400 Hill Road, Reading, Pa 19602. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
