Virginia Mae Fisher, formerly of Thomas Gardens, Shillington, passed away January 22, 2017, in Rittenhouse Village of Laureldale.
Her husband, Warren Lewis Fisher, passed away on October 25, 2004.
Born on April 21, 1921, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late the Most Rev. James Saylor Royer and Helen (Firing) Royer.
Always stylish, Virginia was a dress designer for Pomeroy's. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
Virginia is survived by her two children: Ronald A. Fisher, husband of Bianca J., Branford, CT; and Janice A. Isaacson, Shillington; one brother, Gaylon, husband of Barbara Royer, Pembroke Pines, FL; five grandchildren: Sean, Jason, Jacob, Jill, and Christopher; and six great-grandchildren: Ethan, Emily, Jacob Jr., Brooke, Justin, and Jordan. There is one additional maternal sister-in-law, Marie Royer, Temple; and three paternal sisters-in-law: Virginia Bross, Patsy Bukowski, and Jackie Garipoli, all of Reading also survive her.
She was predeceased by her four siblings: Richard, Oscar, James, and Helen.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 27, 2017, at 11 a.m. in Calvary United Methodist Church, 831 N Wyomissing Blvd, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, with a family reception to follow. A viewing will be held Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
