Ginny graduated from Schuylkill Haven High School in 1956, and she enjoyed the monthly breakfast gatherings of her classmates. She obtained an A.A. from Reading Area Community College in 1984, majoring in Business Management while working full-time at Met-Ed corporate offices. After her retirement from Met-Ed in 1994, she worked part-time for ten years in Accounts Payable at Pinnacle Sports Ski Shop.

Ginny had been an active member (officer, instructor, and trip coordinator) of the Flying Dutchmen Ski Club since 1967. In recent years, she spent many happy hours playing and teaching Mah Jongg at the West Reading and Wyomissing Libraries. She loved to organize small parties for her friends for all occasions, and she loved to shop for a bargain. She had fun babysitting her various grand-dogs over the years. Prior to her husband's death, they enjoyed various travels for many years, especially the annual cruises from Florida with "Billy" and Beverly. Ginny and Bill celebrated the 50th anniversary of D-Day by traveling to England and France with the Swing Fever Band in 1994.
