Virginia M. Boyd

Virginia M. (Spang) Boyd, 71, of Shillington, passed away November 3, 2010, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of Rudyard W. Boyd.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late George and Laura (Gaul) Spang.

She was a 1957 graduate of West Reading High School.

Virginia was a member of St. James Church, West Reading.

She was a member of Mohnton Senior Citizen's group, where she enjoyed the Thursday meetings.

Virginia was a wonderful and devoted housewife. Her family and friends meant the world to her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Andrew S., husband of Diane Boyd, Cumru Township and Peter C., husband of Jacqueline Boyd, Springfield, and her brother, John, husband of Tanya Spang, Belize, Central America.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Edward J.
