Virginia Mae Bohr

Virginia Mae (Manwiller) Bohr, 85, formerly of Hyde Park, died March 11, 2007 in Spangcrest Manor, Lebanon County.

She was the widow of Irvin John Bohr, who died November 1, 1996.

Born January 15, 1922 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Raymond I. and Katie (Weaver) Manwiller.

She was a 1939 graduate of Reading High School.

Virginia was an office manager for a number of years with Elmer Adams Architects, Exeter Township.

She was a member of Grace Alsace United Church of Christ, Hyde Park.

Virginia was a past president of the ladies auxiliary of the Goodwill Fire Company, Hyde Park.

She is survived by a son, James I. husband of Earlene F. (Butz) Bohr of Annville.

Other survivors include two grandsons, David M. Bohr and Jeffrey A. Bohr and two great grandchildren, Sky Bohr and Octavian Bohr.

She was predeceased by a sister, Pauline Leinbach.

Services will be Thursday at 12 noon in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale with the Rev. James W. Adam officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Alsace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038-1131.
