Virgil L. Van Hoosier

Virgil L. Van Hoosier, 53, died of natural causes July 11 at 10:30 a.m. in his residence on North Wyomissing Boulevard, Wyomissing.

Born in Tell City, Ind., he was a son of Rita (Lasher) Hudecek, Evansville, Ind., and the late Otis Van Hoosier.

Van Hoosier was employed since 1991 as a warehouseman by SFS Intec Inc., Reading.

He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.

Van Hoosier is also survived by three daughters: Allison Van Hoosier, Jamesburg, N.J., and Valerie and Lauren Van Hoosier, both of Old Bridge, N.J.

Other survivors include two brothers, Donald, Santa Claus, Ind., and Arthur, Reading; and a sister, Juanita (Van Hoosier) Brush, Abington, Montgomery County.

Graveside services will be this afternoon at 1:30 in Beverly (N.J.) National Cemetery. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
