Virgen Maria Ramos

Virgen Maria Ramos (Mendez), 66, passed away Tuesday, August 6th, 2024, in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center.

Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Juan Mendez and Rafaela (Gonzalez) Mendez.

Maria was a member of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church.

She was employed at Stauffer Biscuits, Blandon before the business closing in 2006.

Maria enjoyed gardening, crafting and watching movies. But her true love was spending time with her children and grandchildren and family

She is survived by her four children, Hector S. "Tito", husband of Carolina Ramos, Reading; Joel A. "Bonco", husband of Ashley Ramos, Muhlenberg Twp.; Maria Victoria Ramos, companion of Ricardo Gonzalez; and Josue D. Ramos, companion of Michelle Seyfert. She was also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous siblings and nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 , at 12:30 pm , in Gethsemane Cemetery 3139 Kutztown Road Reading, PA 19605. Viewing will be held Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Avenue West Reading, PA 19611. Edward J.
