Violet Viola Weaver

Violet V. Weaver, 97, of Laureldale, died November 30, 2014 in Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Wilmer A. Weaver who died in 1965.

Born October 20, 1917 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Daisy R. (Witmer) Weisser.

Violet was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

She was a member of Reading Junior Stockcar Racing Assoc., where she was a former Vice President. She also enjoyed spending time at Shellhammer's Speedway in Shoemakersville and also loved the Phillies.

Surviving is her son, Michael A., husband of Judy Weaver of Laureldale.

There are also four grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren surviving.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Weaver and her five brothers and three sisters.

Services will be Friday at 12:30 p.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
