Viola M. Himmelberger, 80 formerly of Port Clinton and Hamburg died in Weston Pine brook, Orwigsburg on June 2nd, 2014. She was the widow of Richard C. Himmelberger who died August 13, 1994. Viola was born in Windsor Township and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Dorothy Wentzel Heckman. Viola was a machine operator at Wright's Knitwear for 22 years retiring in 1999. She was a member of St. John's Church, Port Clinton. Viola was a former member of Blue Mountain, Bethel and Shoemakersville Senior Citizens. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Himmelberger husband of Debra Smith, Port Clinton, 2 daughters, Deborah wife of Richard Clauser, Schuylkill Haven and Mary wife of Reverend Robert Burkey, New Ringgold. Viola is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter. Additionally she is survived by 2 sisters Carol A. Kamenas, Palo Alto and Nancy E. Buck, Reading and 2 brothers, Richard Heckman, Shoemakersville, and David F. Heckman, Tilden Township. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th St. Hamburg, PA. A viewing will be held Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
