Viola Cucinotta, 97, of Brecknock Twp., died December 8, 2014, in Reading Hospital.
Her husband, Frank Cucinotta, died August 7, 1991.
Born in Temple, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Carmella (Milandra) Zappacosta.
She was the owner/operator, with her husband, of 1st Ward Meat Market for over 30 years retiring in 1972. After retirement, she worked part-time as a rental agent for Springside Manor Apartments.
Viola was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading,
She loved spending time with her family especially her great-granddaughters.
Viola is survived by her daughter, Domenica "Minnie", wife of Salvatore Trabosh, with whom she resided; grandson, Gerald Trabosh; and great-granddaughters, Savannah and Samantha. Also surviving is her grand-daughter-in-law, Paula. She was predeceased by five siblings, William, Josephine, Lillian, Doris and Vincent.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, with burial to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. and Friday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. both in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading.
