Vincenza "Zena" J. Cenerazzo, 88, of Reading, died June 27, 2008 in St. Joseph's Hospital, where she had been since May 20.
Her husband John A. Cenerazzo died March 23, 2005.
Born in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Grace (Lignelli) Ferraro.
She was a graduate of Nazareth High School and Bethlehem Business College and attended Penn State University.
Zena was a member of the Sentimental Seven, with whom she performed throughout the Reading area. She was a former board member of: the Reading Community Players, Genesius Theatre and Shoestring Productions.
Mrs. Cenerazzo started the Girl Scout Movement at Holy Family Catholic Church, Nazareth and was a Girl Scout Leader in Boyertown.
She was a founding member of the Pagoda Skyline Committee, which was incorporated in 1970.
Zena was inducted into the Voter Hall of Fame for voting 50 consecutive years.
Mrs. Cenerazzo was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
She is survived by two sons, Gregory J., Seattle, WA and John A., Jr., Reading. There is also one sister, Rose (Ferraro) Fallon, Bethlehem. Three grandchildren also survive her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church. Inurnment will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in Gethsemane Mausoleum. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading.
