Vincent Deangelo, Jr.

Vincent DeAngelo, Jr.,70, of Orwigsburg, passed away December 24, 2018, at the Reading Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Christine A. (Morris) DeAngelo. They celebrated 39 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Vincent, Sr. and Angela (Visalli) DeAngelo.

He was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School.

Vincent was a U. S. National Guard veteran.

He was owner of DeAngelo Insurance Group for 33 years where he enjoyed providing insurance protection to countless families in the Berks County areas.

Vincent was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Hamburg.

He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed all Philadelphia sports especially the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and the 76'ers.

Vincent was a devoted and loving father who was extremely proud of his children and taught them the value of hard work. "Pops" absolutely adored his grandchildren Vinny and Grant and cherished spending time with them.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Vincent III, husband of Megan DeAngelo, Wyomissing and Natalie A. DeAngelo, Orwigsburg; one brother, Ralph, husband of Anita DeAngelo, Hamburg and two grandchildren, Vincent DeAngelo IV and Grant DeAngelo.

He was predeceased by his sister, Janice Hossler.

Prayer Services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018, at 10:30 A.M. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
