Vincent P. Brancadora, 77, Muhlenberg Township, died Aug. 14 at 9:50 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, where he had been a patient since Aug. 6.

He was the husband of Concetta R. (Napoletano) Brancadora.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Enrico and Carmela (Schipani) Brancadora.

Brancadora had been last employed for 10 years as a state auditor for the Pennsylvania Department of Education, until his retirement. He previously worked as a patrolman for the Muhlenberg Township Police Department and was the owner and operator of Vincent's Meats and Groceries, Birdsboro.

He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Brancadora was an Army veteran of World War II.

He served four years on the board of the Muhlenberg School District.

Brandcadora was a past vice-president of the Temple Democratic Club and a member of San Marco Singers, Temple.

He is also survived by a son, Vincent S., Brighton Township, Beaver County; and two daughters, Jo Anne Brancadora, Reading, and Camille (Brancadora) Mulligan, Denver, Lancaster County.

Other survivors include three sisters: Helen Brancadora, Los Angeles; Mary (Brancadora) Schipani, Chicago; and Rose Marie (Brancadora) Ohse, Custer, Mich.

There are also four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements.
