Vikki J. Kantner

Vikki J. Kantner, 60, of Spring Twp., died July 6, 2010 in the Reading Hospital Emergence Care Unit.

Her husband, James M. "Skip" Kantner died January 11, 2007.

Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Florence (Lange) Handel.

She was a word processing specialist retiring in 2006.

Vikki was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield, where she served as an organist and pianist.

She is survived by her daughters, Michele R. Brodie, Reading and Laura Leigh Pimer, West Lawn. Three grandchildren, Daniel, Steven and Michael also survive her. She will be dearly missed by her cats, Blossom and Cinnabun.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 17 at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. A visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
