Victoria Loretta Masciotti

Victoria Loretta Masciotti, 84, of Mt. Penn, died April 11, 2009 in Mifflin Center.

Her husband, Nicholas Masciotti, died in 1972.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Stanley E. and Katherine (Kruk) Berezowski.

She was a graduate of Reading High School in 1943.

Victoria was a legal secretary for 30 years, last working for Robert F. Shapiro, Esq., Reading, retiring in 1990.

She was a member of St Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township.

Victoria was a member of the Mt. Penn Senior Citizens Club, where she served as secretary for a number of years and was an active member of the Berks County Breast Cancer Support Services Group. She was also a former member of the Reading Civic Opera.

Victoria was an avid gardener; she loved all animals, especially cats.

She is survived by her sister, Anna V., widow of George Exas, Pennside and two nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in St Catharine's Church, Exeter Twp. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
