Victor Velez

Victor Velez, 77, of Reading, passed away September 4, 2013 in St. Joseph Medical Center.

His wife, Amelia (Lopez) Velez, died February 26, 1996.

Born February 7, 1936 in Bayamon, P.R., he was a son of the late Jose Velez and America Morales.

He is survived by his four children: Luis, husband of Jessica Velez, Pine Grove; Victor M. Velez, P.R.; Elizabeth Velez, Reading; and Marisol Velez, Reading. Also surviving is his sister, Carmen Rivera P.R.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Carmen M. Velez, and his brother, Enriques Rivera.

Services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Bern Church Cemetery, Bern Township. A viewing will be Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Edward J.
