Victor Lawrence Miller, Jr.

Victor L. Miller Jr., 84, of Oley, passed away December 8, 2013 in Frederick Living.

He was the husband of Mae Louise (Winters) Miller, who died July 6, 2006.

Born in Baumstown, on November 26, 1929, he was a son of the late Victor L Miller Sr. and Florence M. (Trievel) Miller.

Victor was a 1947 graduate of Oley Valley High School.

He was a dairy farmer for all his life.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Douglassville.

Victor was a past chairman of the hay and grains department for the Oley Valley Community Fair. He was also a member of Oley Fire Company and Ambulance Auxiliary, Pike Township Sportsman's Club, and Victor Emmanuel's II. A pastime he enjoyed was playing and watching baseball.

He is survived by his children, Steven D. Miller, husband of Pamela J., Oley, and Susan D., wife of Dennis M. Sweigert, Shillington.

Other survivors include: his brother, J. Gordon Miller, husband of Pearl, Oley, a grandchild, Peyton Sweigert, and a step-grandchild, Megan Notestine.

Victor was predeceased by his brother, Clair Miller.

Services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory Inc., 423 Main St. Oley, pa 19547. A viewing will be held Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Amityville Cemetery.
