Victor Gonzalez

Victor Gonzalez, 80, of Laureldale, died January 27, 2015 in Berks Heim, Bern Township.

He was the husband of the late Adelina Cruz, who died May 2, 1997.

Born May 8, 1934 in Isabela, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Servearino and Maria (Torres) Gonzalez.

Victor was employed as a bus driver with Manhattan Transit for 20 years, retiring in 1983.

A fun loving man, Victor loved singing, dancing and playing the guitar. He also loved to make jokes and make people laugh.

Surviving are his nine children: Marilyn Belilla of Laureldale, Victor C. Gonzalez of Reading, Rosa Rodriguez of Little Ferry, NJ, Herbert Gonzalez of Laureldale, Michael Gonzalez of North Bergen, NJ, Daisy Ramos of Isabella, Puerto Rico, Sonia Rodriguez of Seattle, WA, Noel Gonzalez of Jacksonville, FL and Nelson Gonzalez of Little Ferry, NJ.

Also surviving are his 24 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

There are also six stepchildren and many step grandchildren surviving.

Services will be Saturday, February 7th at 5 p.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Puerto Rico.
