Victor Cruz-Montanez

Victor Cruz-Montanez, 64 of Reading, passed away surrounded by his loving family in St. Joseph's Hospital January 14, 2008, where he had been a patient since January 9, 2008.

He was the husband of Ana Flores Cruz.

Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Isabel Cruz and Dorotea Montanez.

Victor worked as a manager at Frank + Sons in Temple for 35 years retiring in 1995.

Surviving are three daughters, Norma Cruz, Reading, Minerva Cruz, Wyomissing, Yolanda Fontanez-Cruz, Cumru Township and one step-daughter Judith Thompson Davila of Reading, three step-sons Saul Lopez, Puerto Rico, Jose Davila, Newmanstown and Pedro Davila, Reading.

He is also survived by three brothers Felix, Vincente and Luca Cruz all of Puerto Rico, and three sisters Antonia and Delia Cruz, both of Puerto Rico and Andrea Cruz of Reading.

Other survivors include four grandchildren, thirteen step-grandchildren, six great grandchildren and ten step-great grandchildren.

Victor was predeceased by one step-daughter Ana Colon-Davila.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday night. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens. www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
