Vicki Rothenberger Renninger

Vicki Rothenberger Renninger, 73, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, in the care of Hershey Medical Center. Born on the family farm in Oley, Vicki was one of the 11 children born to the late Harry and Sallie (Rothenberger) Renninger.

Vicki graduated from Exeter High School in 1967. She worked as a tax accountant for over 28 years, having started her career with H&R Block before founding her own tax company. She was a hard worker who applied the dedication she learned growing up on the family farm to all aspects of her life.

She was a member of Schwarzwald Lutheran Church of Exeter.

Vicki lived for her grandchildren, and she nurtured a unique bond with every member of her family. She loved time spent outdoors, especially on her patio. She encouraged her family, especially her grandchildren, to flourish in the outdoors.

Left to treasure Vicki's memory are her children: James Lewis Jr. (Denise) of Reading; Rebecca Elison (Steven) of Leland, NC; Danielle Steffy of Muhlenberg; and Nicole Angstadt of Muhlenberg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Laura, Mitchel, Dylan L., Dylan B., Kayla, Brittany, Abigail, Tyler, and Charlotte, one great grandchild, Gabriel, three sisters, and her beloved canine companion, Sage. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her six brothers and one sister.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, 250 Church Lane Rd, Reading, PA 19606. Visitation with the family will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
