Vernon B. "Scully" Scull, 82, West Wyomissing, died Feb. 8 at 6:04 p.m. in Laurel Center Genesis Elder Care, Tilden Township, where he had resided since Jan. 7.
He was the husband of Anna G. (Derr) Scull.
Born in Sinking Spring, he was a son of the late Forrest and Dorothy (Matz) Scull.
Scull was employed for 29 years as a lead man fabricator by Brown's Trailers, Reading, until 1969. He was later employed as a maintenance man by Berks Heim, retiring in 1987.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Scull was a 1942 graduate of Sinking Spring High School.
Surviving are a niece and three nephews.
Services will be Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be private in Sinking Spring Cemetery.
