Verna K. Tiehl

Verna K. Tiehl, 80, of 500 Shalter Ave., (Orchard Apts) Temple, died August 5th at 1:50 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services, West Reading where she had been since July 10th.

She was the widow of Joseph L. Tiehl (Died January 13, 1995).

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Ivan J. and Elizabeth (Burkert) Miller.

Tiehl was employed for a number of years at Electric Coil, Laureldale until her retirement.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Reading.

Tiehl was a life member of the Kenhorst Fire Company Ladies auxiliary.

She is survived by a brother; Russell D. Miller of Reading and a sister; Charlotte (Miller) Schaedler of Laureldale.

Other survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. Viewing Thursday Noon until time of service.
