Verna Spina

Verna Spina, 82, of Reading, died April 21st at 11:30 pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she had been since earlier that day.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Ignazio and Rosaria (Correnti) Spina.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Spina was employed for 47 years at Herman D. Oristky Clothing Factory, Reading, retiring in 1987.

She was survived by a brother, Joseph Spina of Wyomissing.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30am in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 3rd and Franklin Streets, Reading, Pa 19602. Viewing will be Tuesday 8:00 - 9:00 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church at the above address.
