Verna A. Kramer

Verna A. Kramer, 95, formerly of Muhlenberg Township died August 17, 2013 in Lutheran Home at Topton.

She was the wife of Roy W. Kramer who died July 13, 1992.

Born July 8, 1918 in Muhlenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Cora (Schlottman) Genslinger.

Verna was a 1936 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

She was employed as an office manager with Dietrich's Milk Products for 43 years, retiring in 1979.

Verna was a very active member of Grace Alsace United Church of Christ, Hyde Park.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Surviving is her stepdaughter, Bonita J. (Kramer), widow of Robert H. Stettler of Bern Township; her step granddaughter, Tracy A. Stettler, wife of Edward Dornblaser, and their son, Brice Dornblaser of Bern Township and two nephews, Harold H. Genslinger of Hyde Park and Scott H. Genslinger of Florida.

Verna was predeceased by two siblings: Elva (Genslinger) Kirkhoff and Earl H. Genslinger.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Alsace Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
