Valerie Susan Kovich

Valerie Susan Kovich, born on August 27 1958, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2023, at the age of 65.

Valerie was the youngest daughter of Mildred (Tomchick) and the late Martin S Kovich, Jr. She was the beloved mother of Stacey (Kovich) Bauer .

She was a lover of all animals, especially her cats, which brought her much joy & happiness. She enjoyed doing puzzles of all types, reading, and was very talented in her artistic abilities with drawing, quilting, sewing, knitting, and calligraphy just to name a few. She enjoyed many good times with her family over the years, making lots of memories at family gatherings and holidays, and many late nights and phone calls with her sister (girlie), Laura. These memories will live on in the hearts and memories of those she leaves behind.

In addition to her daughter, Stacey, wife of Don Bauer, she is survived by two brothers, Martin 'Bud' Kovich (Cindy) and Dave; aunt, Dorothy Lazar; grandchildren: Alexis, Andrew, and Darin; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many great nieces and nephews.

Valerie was loved by many, and will be sadly missed, but the family will find comfort knowing that she is in the arms of the Lord and has been reunited with her sister and father in Heaven.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please provide any contributions, in her memory, to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
