Tina M. Burkey

Tina M. Burkey, 43 of Hamburg died Sunday, July 7th in her residence. She was born in West Reading and was the daughter of the late David L. Burkey and Janey L. Peters of Dunedin, Fl. Tina worked for 20 years at the Hamburg Center as an aide retiring in 2012. She was a 1987 graduate of Hamburg Area High School and graduated in Psychology from Kutztown University in 1991. Tina was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Hamburg. She was also a member of the Hamburg Game Association and Post 216 Wagner-Good, VFW, Hamburg. In addition to her mother she is survived by a brother, Tracy A. Burkey, Reading. A visitation will be held on Friday from 10:30 AM until 12:00 noon at the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., Hamburg, PA. There will be no formal memorial service after the visitation. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
