Timothy Craig Moll

Timothy C. Moll, 73, passed away on May 25, 2024, at his West Wyomissing residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was the loving husband of Susan A. (Wildermuth) Moll; they were married on October 9, 1971.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Donald S. and Betty L. (Frantz) Moll. He was raised by Robert and Mildred Fisher at the Topton Lutheran Home.

He was a graduate of Brandywine High School in 1969, earned his associate's degree from Northampton Community College, and his bachelor degree in business from Alvernia University.

Tim was a veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam War serving on the USS Mullinnix DD 944.

He was an electrician for Western Electric, Lucent and Agere until his retirement. Later he taught electricians at Vo-Tech for many years.

Tim was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Reading.

A lifelong soccer enthusiast, he helped to start the Wilson girls soccer program and coached his children and others for the Wilson Soccer Club; he coached his first team at the age of 18. Tim was a certified referee in both PIAA and FIFA. Tim was also an excellent player. He was all-county at Brandywine and played semi-pro for the Amerks.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Cynthia J. (Nathaniel) Raney; Jason S. (Meghan); and Samantha M. Moll; and five grandchildren: Calvin Long, active duty Navy E4MMN3, Isaac Long, Benjamin Long, Kaylie Moll, and Ryan Moll. Five siblings: Donald (Judy), Shari (Louie), Karen, Eugene, and Denise also survive him.

He was predeceased by his son, Kyle G. Moll, and his brother, Barry.

Services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Alsace Lutheran Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fox Chase or Jefferson Oncology. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is honored to assist the Moll family.
