Timothy Parron Lindley, 65, of Morgantown, passed away August 26, 2012 in Neighborhood Hospice, West Chester.
He was the husband of Carol A. (Bunchek) Lindley, whom he married November 29, 1996.
Born in Gary, IN, he was the son of Dorothy (Poulson) Lindley, Kingman, IN and the late John Lindley.
Tim was a graduate of Lowell High School, IN and attended Ball State University.
He was employed for over 32 years by GE Capital, retiring in 2009 as V.P. of Operations.
Tim was a member of St. Benedict's R.C. Church, Mohnton where he was a former Chairman on the church council. He converted to Catholicism in 2004 and that year he and Carol were remarried in the church on Veteran's Day. He embraced the Catholic Church and its values and was very active in the parish.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus, St. Benedict's Council 14654; a member of Masonic Lake Lodge 157, IN and was past president of the Youth Bowling Association (YABA), IN. He took an interest in politics and volunteered at the voting polls during elections. Tim loved life and was very outgoing. He enjoyed golfing, collecting Santas, Corvettes, dancing, singing karaoke and was the life of the party. He was a wonderful husband, a loving father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children: Sean Jackson, Hobart, IN; Tara (Jackson) Burnette, wife of Tim Burnette, Hebron, IN and Ryan Jackson, Cedar Lake, IN. Also surviving are his brother-in-law, Tom Bunchek, fiance of Linda Felinski, Highland, IN; his sister-in-law, Pat, wife of Pete Nelson, Highland, IN; four grandchildren: Christopher Mahan, Dylin Mahan, Samantha Jackson, Tegan Jackson and two step-grandchildren: Jeremy Burnette and Gage Burnette.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Benedict's R.C. Church, 2020 Chestnut Hill Rd. Mohnton. Viewings will be Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading and Wednesday 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will be private. A Memorial Service will be held in Indiana on Saturday.
