Thomas Paul Zeimer

Thomas Paul Zeimer, Sr., 81, of West Lawn, died April 28, 2013 in Phoebe Berks Healthcare Center, Wernersville.

He was the husband of M. Grace (Clemente) Zeimer whom he married May 30, 1956.

Born March 17, 1931 in Reading, he was a son of the late John Robert and Beulah Clara (Helv) Zeimer.

Thomas was a 1950 graduate of Reading High School and a graduate of Penn State.

He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Reading.

Thomas was employed as a machinist with Arrow International for 50 years.

He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict.

Thomas loved sports, but most of all, spending time with his family.

Also surviving are his two sons: Thomas P., Jr., husband of Linda (Finogle) Zeimer of West Lawn and John R., husband of Judith I. (Barstow) Zeimer of Glade Hill, VA.

In addition there are four grandchildren, Melissa, Laura, Tommy and Derrike and three great grandchildren.

Thomas was predeceased by a daughter, Pamela L. Zeimer.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
