Thomas Adair Tyler

Thomas Adair Tyler Jr., 68, of Wyomissing Hills, died of natural causes January 24th at 4:33 pm in the Reading Hospital Emergency Room.

He was the husband of Nancy E. (Gartner) Tyler.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Thomas A. Tyler Sr., and Helen (Heckman) Tyler.

He was a 1955 graduate of Germantown Friends School and a graduate of the University of Rochester, New York.

Tyler was the owner of Castings Company, Wyomissing for a number of years, last working on Tuesday.

He was an Army Veteran.

Tyler was the treasurer of the North American Balloon Assocation.

He is also survived by a son Thomas A. III of Pennsylvania and a daughter, Brooke (Tyler) Rahmin of Chicago, Ill.

Other survivors include a step-son, Christopher J. Yoder of Wyomissing and a step-daughter, Emily J. Yoder of Buffalo, New York.

Tyler is also survived by a sister, Sally T. (Tyler) Ismail of Concord, Mass. and one grandchild.

Memorial services will be Friday at 1:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. No viewing. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Opportunity House, 430 North 2nd Street, Reading, Pa 19601.
