Thomas M. Mensch

Thomas M. Mensch, 76, passed away on January 4, 2024, in his St. Lawrence residence.

He was the husband of Frieda L. (Conrad) Mensch. They enjoyed 19 wonderful years of marriage together.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late James and Mary (Gambler) Mensch.

He graduated from Governor Mifflin High School in 1965.

Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was a parts manager for Penske Truck Leasing for 37 years retiring in 2012.

Tom enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter.

In addition to Frieda, he is survived by his son, Thomas L. Mensch, Ashville, NC; one step-son, Michael Gross, Reading; three siblings: James Mensch, Patricia (Michael) Schrum, and Michael (Margaret) Mensch; and one grandchild, Leo Mensch. Two step-daughters, Lisha Yochimowitz, Reading and Debbie Funk, Sinking Spring also survive him.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. with a service to begin at 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Contributions may be made charity of your choice in Tom's memory. Condolences may be expressed at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
