Thomas M. Mcmullen

Thomas Merril McMullen III, 27, of Lincoln Park, was killed January 24, 2009 in a one-vehicle accident on Route 562 in Amity Township.

Born January 12, 1982 in West Reading, he was a son of Thomas M. McMullen Jr., and Teresa M. (Kercher) McMullen of Reading.

He was a 2000 graduate of Reading High School.

Thomas was employed as a supervisor with APEX, Douglasville, last working Friday.

He was a member of North End Rod & Gun Club; Berks Lodge #71 F.O.P. Social Club, Temple; Tivoli Beneficial Association, Reading and Jackson Democratic Club, Reading.

Thomas is also survived by his girlfriend, Holly Y. Boyer, with whom he resided and three step children: Brianna N. Shaffer and Kya N. Archie both at home and Alexander Dower of Reading.

Other survivors include his paternal grandparents, Thomas M. McMullen Sr., of Laureldale and Judith (Nardo) McMullen of Temple; his paternal great grandparents, Katherine (Yohe), wife of James Orrs of Shillington and his maternal grandmother, Mary Lou (Manwiller), widow of Charles R. Kercher of Mount Penn.

He is also survived by three siblings: Stephanie A. McMullen of Willow Grove; Damien N. McMullen Sr., fiancé of Madeline Centeno of Reading and Brian A. McMullen of Reading.

There are also nieces and nephews surviving: Mariah McMullen, Damien McMullen Jr. and Elijah McMullen.
