Thomas I. Lutz

Thomas I. Lutz, 82, of Exeter Township, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Berkshire Center, where he had resided since September, 2011.

Born in Exeter Township, he was the husband of the late Fern I. (Reifsnyder) Lutz, and the son of the late Thomas and Ella (Frey) Lutz.

He was employed for 34 years by Standard Auto Body as a body repairman until his retirement in 1993.

He was a member of the Pike Twp. Sportsman's Assoc., Fireman's Assoc. of the State of PA, Berks County Fireman's Association, and the Goodwill Beneficial Assoc.

Thomas is survived by a daughter, Andrea Manzolillo of Exeter Twp.; a sister, Lena Stoner of Mohnton; four grandchildren: Lori, Brian, and Marcy Zimmerman, and Christopher Manzolillo; 10 great-grandchildren; two nephews, Kerry and Scotty Stoner, and his companion, Emma Manwiller of Fleetwood. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Zimmerman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main St., Oley, PA with Rev. Merrill R. Marisseau officiating. Burial will follow in Spies Cemetery, Alsace Twp. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
