Thomas James Kneale

Thomas J. Kneale, Jr, 93, passed away at Reading Hospital on November 25, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Thomas and Gladys (Shields) Kneale. He served in the United States Army as well as the Marines. He was self-employed, owning and operating his own plumbing business, Kneale Brothers Plumbing, in the Phoenixville area for 30 years.

Thomas was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Sinking Spring. He was a nature enthusiast. He enjoyed taking walks and hiking, fishing, hunting and shooting trap. He will be remembered for his charming smile and sense of humor. He cherished any time he got to spend with his family and friends.

Left to treasure Thomas's memory are his significant other, Kathleen Aldin; step-daughters: Darlene Flood (Thomas), April Sykes, and Esther Cummings (Robert); his nephews: Robert and William Kneale; his grandchildren: Karen, Suzi, Jerry and Ian; and his six great grandchildren. Thomas is predeceased by his first wife, Arlene Kneale (Dunmoyer), and brother, Norman Kneale.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas's honor to Maranatha Baptist Church at 25 Gaul Rd, Reading 19608. Edward J.
