Thomas G. Dwyer, 90, of West Reading, died August 8, 2010 in Golden Living Center, Exeter Township.

He was the husband of Betty Vivian (Hahn) Dwyer.

Born in Hazelton, he was the son of the late Gerard and Nan (McCauley) Dwyer.

Thomas was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 22 years, retiring in 1982 as a Postmaster for the Mohnton Branch.

He was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading.

Thomas was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in WWII with the 86th Blackhawk Division.

In addition to his wife, she is survived by his daughter, Kathleen, widow of David Cranos, Exeter Township. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Caroline Cranos, Groveland, MA and Christina Cranos, Reading. There are three great-grandchildren surviving.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, August 18th at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C.Church 8th and Franklin St., West Reading. A visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m in the church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
