Thomas Charles Comoh

Thomas C. Comoh, 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in his Spring Township residence, as was his last wish.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Patricia Comoh Toney, widow of Jerome Toney, of Wyomissing, and the late Charles W. Comoh, who passed away when Tom was very young.

He graduated from Wilson High School in 1982 and went on to study at Penn State Berks before transferring and graduating from Lincoln Technical College with an associates in electronics technology. Later in life, he completed another associates degree in HVAC/R at the Reading Area Community College.

His long career began in 1991 as a process analyst for Agere Systems before moving to Bernville Quality Fuels as an HVAC/R technician in 2004. Until his passing, he worked as a machine technician for Broadcom Technologies.

Tom was a dutiful son and a dedicated father. He was very reliable and hardworking, and he was always willing to help his family with any household challenges. He always had a project to work on and had a "never-quit" attitude when it came to everything. He enjoyed cooking and often would try to perfect new recipes. Thomas also had a passion for music and would often be found listening to classic rock while working and cooking. Thomas was a bit of a thrill seeker, in his younger years he enjoyed skiing and dirt biking, but as he got older he enjoyed fishing with his children. He was a reliable, dedicated, and respectable man who cared deeply for his family.

Left to treasure his memory are his children, Dawson T. Comoh, with whom Thomas resided, and Kendyl Comoh of Shillington; his mother, Patricia Comoh Toney of Wyomissing; his brother, Glenn Comoh of West Lawn; his sister, Lynn Comoh of Reading; and his step-sister, Harriet Dormer, widow of Richard, of Bowie, MD. Thomas was predeceased by his father, Charles W. Comoh, and his step-father, Jerome Toney.

A Prayer Service for Thomas will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. Friends and family are welcome to gather for visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m.
