Thomas B. Barrett

Thomas Booth Barrett, 95, of 5204 Sunset Road, (Muhlenberg Township), Temple, Pa 19560 died January 19th at 1:05 am in St. Joseph's Hospital where he had been since January 16th.

He was the husband of Edna Mary (Coleman) Barrett.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Grover C. Barrett and Bessie (Sassaman) Schoelkopf.

Barrett was the owner/operator of Bessie's Tavern, Muhlenberg Township for a number of years until 1964.

He was a Army Veteran of WWII.

Barrett is also survived by a son, Thomas J. husband of Dahna M. (Burgert) Barrett of Temple.

Other survivors include a daughter, Gwen L. (Barrett) wife of Timothy P. Hepler of Wyomissing and a step-daughter, Michelle J. (Czarnecki) wife of Warren E. Greth of Wyomissing.

There are also eight grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 1:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing 12 noon until time of service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
