Thomas H. Bagenstose

Thomas H. Bagenstose, 56, of Lighthouse Point, FL and formerly of Wyomissing, died December 6, 2008 in Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Boynton Beach FL.

He was the husband of Cynthia E. Hix.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of Mabel G. (Herr) Bagenstose, West Reading and the late Donald W. Bagenstose.

He was a graduate of West Reading High School in 1969; Moravian Prep School in 1970 and Moravian College, Bethlehem in 1974, where he earned a BS in Biology.

Tom was Boro Manager for West Reading for 13 years. Later he started both Berks Enviro Tech and Enviro Tech and Associates of which he was the owner/operator for the past 30 years, last working in October. He also was the co-owner of Albrecht/Bagenstose Partnership.

He was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.

Tom loved spending time with his family and friends; hunting and fishing; and weightlifting.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one daughter, Brittany H. Bagenstose, at home and one son Thomas L. Bagenstose, Allentown.

He was predeceased by one brother, Donald W. Bagenstose, Jr.

Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Eplers Church Cemetery.
