Thomas B. Heckler

Thomas Bradley Heckler, born in West Reading, passed away on July 11, 2016 at Mifflin Center in Shillington, PA at the age of 64.

Tom is survived by his parents, Ammon and Elizabeth Heckler; three brothers, Gerald, Richard, and David Heckler, a sister, Linda Calderon; nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

After graduating from Wyomissing Area High School in 1970, Tom served in the U.S. Army for two years. He worked at Materion Brush Performance Alloys until he retired in 2014. Tom's interests included hunting and fishing, and for many years, he enjoyed spending time at a hunting cabin with friends. A safari hunting trip to Africa was a highlight and favorite memory for Tom.

The family wishes to thank the staff at PA Dialysis of Reading, Mifflin Court, Mifflin Center, and Hospice Compassus.

The family will have a private service.
