Thomas A. Lynskey

Thomas A. Lynskey, formerly of Rochelle Park, NJ, born to John and Rosella Lynskey on December 18, 1940 in Newark, NJ, died June 9, 2008 at age 67 in his home in Reading, PA.

He is survived by wife, Maria, children Donna and Daniel and son-in-law Brad Fox. Thomas was a 1958 graduate of Pope Pius XII High School in Passaic, NJ.

Thomas served in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviation Electrician. He was employed by Aetna Life and Casualty as a Loss Prevention Manager for 26 years. Thomas was also employed as a safety consultant for Great American and Ohio Casualty Insurance Companies.

His professional and fraternal affiliations included: The American Society of Safety Engineers Certified Safety Professionals, Knights of Columbus and Ancient Order of Hibernians.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605, with Msgr. Dennis J. Hartgen officiating. Viewings will be held Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Reading, PA 19605. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum.
