Therese A. Zuchowski

Therese A. (Brown) Zuchowski, 54, Muhlenberg Township, passed away January 15, 2016 at Penn State Health – St. Joseph, surrounded by her daughter and her family.

She was the daughter of Paul L. and Rosemary T. (Bennethum) Brown, Mohrsville, PA.

Therese is survived by her daughter, Amanda K. Zuchowski, at home.

She was a 1979 graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School and attended Penn State University.

Therese was employed by the United States Postal Service for 30 years and also by Berks Lodge #71 Fraternal Order of Police.

Therese was known for her caring, sincere, and giving personality and her love of her family.

In addition to her parents and daughter she is survived by her siblings: Paul W., husband of Karen Brown, Leesport, PA; John P., husband of Valerie Brown, Winston-Salem, NC; Joseph M., husband of Tara Brown, Bern Township, PA; Steven M., husband of Pamela Brown, St. Louis, MO; and Kathleen M., wife of David Glaser, Muhlenberg Township, PA. She was the Aunt to 11 nieces and nephews: Ciana Krymskiy, Ryan Glaser, Meghan Brown, Haley Glaser, Kasandra Brown, Dylan Brown, Daniel Brown, David Brown, Jacob Brown, Sierra Grace Brown and Emmelia Neff. To her nieces and nephews, she was known as Aunt Tee.

She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Reading, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 1040 N. 8th Street, Reading, PA. A viewing will be held, Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Edward Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA.
