Theresa Yedinak

Theresa A. Yedinak, 83, of Wyomissing, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 17, 2025, in her residence. She was the loving wife of Jerry Yedinak, who passed away on April 12, 2019.

Born in Reading to the late Andrew J. and Mary (Lesagonicz) Bilak, Theresa graduated from Reading Central Catholic High School in 1959.

From 1962 through 1975, Theresa worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for John Hancock Life Insurance Company of Wyomissing. Later, she maintained the books for her and her husband’s business, A&S Builders, and she handled the reporting for Jerry’s stucco and dryvit inspections.

She was a devout member of Nativity BVM Ukrainian Catholic Church, Reading. An expert pyrohy-pincher, she volunteered for many years during the church’s fundraisers.

She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening. She also enjoyed coloring and collecting dolls, ornaments, and teddy bears. Theresa was a wonderful cook, and everyone looked forward to her homemade filling at Thanksgiving.

Theresa is survived by her beloved son, Chris Yedinak, of Wyomissing. She is also survived by her aunt, Helen Lesagonicz; her cousins; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Nativity BVM Ukrainian Catholic Church, 504 Summit Ave, Reading, PA 19611. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the start of services at the church. Burial will be private. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, is entrusted with arrangements.
