Theresa Marie Tracey

Theresa (Terry) Marie Tracey, 67, of Leesport, PA passed away at home on April 21, 2024, surrounded by her family. Terry was predeceased by her husband, David Miller, in 2014.

She was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Finneran) Tracey of Mahanoy City.

Surviving are her sisters, Mary Ann (James) Mansell of Hometown and Dianne Tracey (Jeffrey) Curry of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by nieces, Dr. Jamie Mansell (Dennis) Dugan of Philadelphia and Tracey (Joseph) Loprete of Coaldale, and nephew and godson, James Mansell III (Shannon) of Port Carbon. She is also survived by her uncle, Joseph Finneran of Lancaster, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Terry was a graduate of the class of 1974 from Marian Catholic High School where she excelled in both softball and basketball for the Marian Fillies.

Her hard work ethic started in Mahanoy City at the Coral Drive-In, Ateeco Inc. Shenandoah, and manager of the American Saloon's in Mahanoy City and Shenandoah.

Terry was a graduate of McCann's School of Business and worked in banking until she started her final career with the United States Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency. After 37 years with the USDA, Terry retired as a District Director in July 2023.

She loved to travel with many trips to the Caribbean, Paris, Greece, Mexico, Hawaii, and she enjoyed cruising. Terry always found her favorite spot on the beach.

Friends and family will gather on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading PA 19611, and again Saturday, April 27, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. A Prayer Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
