Theresa "Terry" Haas

Terry "Butterkup" Haas, 61, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at St. Joseph's Medical Center.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Virginia (Burgess) Haas.

Terry graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School and earned an Associate's degree in Business management from Lehigh Carbon Community College. She owned and operated Butterkup's Tax Preparation.

Terry was a retired member of Leather and Lace Motorcycle Club with many years of active service. She loved riding her Harley and her horse, Sonny. She was also a passionate advocate for breast cancer survivors.

She was a free-spirited, kind-hearted being who touched the lives of many. Beloved by all who knew her, she brought light, laughter, and love wherever she went. She will be missed dearly and remembered always.

Terry is survived by her children: Candice M. Leone of Emmaus; Justine A. Fox, wife of Donnell Fox, of Hudson Falls, NY; and Josef Gery, husband of Ray-Anne, of Kutztown; five grandchildren: Leah, Draven, MarkJames, Anthony, and Brooklynn; three siblings: Judith Houck, wife of Wayde; Heidi Burgert, wife of Lou; and Keith Haas and niece Paige Burgert and nephew Matt Burgert, children of Heidi. In addition to her family, she was a beloved mother figure and cherished friend to Zeke, Cody, and Jayven, who held a special place in her heart.

She was predeceased by her beloved dog, Diesel.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
